According to recent reports, about 11% of young people would like to be involved in agriculture, but do not know how to do it properly. In this regard, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), together with the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Regional Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, will hold an interactive round table for young people to open a dialogue and listen to young people in innovative areas in the field of agriculture. It is planned to involve representatives of relevant national government bodies, representatives of NGOs and the academy, active youth from all regions of the country to inform about the current situation and priorities of the country in the field of agricultural development, as well as to enable young people to share their ideas in improving the development of agriculture, involving rural youth and innovations in the field of food security and nutrition of the country.
