Given the opportunity that represents the Food Systems Summit in 2021 there is a strong need to pool together resources, knowledge, and expertise to encourage better cooperation and offer concrete progress towards the delivery of the Sustainable Developments Goals. This event will cover a cross cutting issue  to the Food Systems Summit action tracks and relevant to CFS. Innovation The groups will explore Innovation following the 4 initial areas of focus developed in the Innovation lever of the Food Systems Summit, the guests will be invited to interact in small groups that reflect communities of interest including: Carbon pricing & measuring Precision agriculture Renewables Food loss and waste Oceans/Horticulture/Livestock/Agroforestry/Crops Nutrition Access to Market, especially for SMEs Innovative food product development In each area of expertise, the group will be asked to reflect up on four key aspects of innovation being discussed at the Food Systems Summit, and what is needed to advance innovation in an inclusive way: Data and Digital Systems Scientific and Technological Innovation Building National and Regional Innovation Ecosystems Societal and Institutional Innovations to build leadership and improve scalehttps://summitdialogues.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Picture1-1.png
