The overall objective is to discuss and highlight how experiences from the GEF programs could contribute to the Food Systems Summit process. The discussion will identify challenges and opportunities for transforming agri-food systems at global and national level, including financing and policies needed to drive such transformation while addressing trade-offs and synergies among environmental, socio-economic, and health/nutrition priorities. The Dialogue will bring together stakeholders from government, private sector, civil society organizations, development agencies and technical entities involved with the programs. Stakeholders are organized into two panels that will progressively enrich the discussion and help tease out core messages for contribution to the Food Systems Summit.
