With the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, livelihoods have been compromised and affordability of healthy, nutritious diets is likely to become an even bigger issue as prior to the crisis. It is more important than ever to initiate a dialogue on (i) the major barriers to make healthy diets affordable, accessible, and adequate for everyone, (ii) the levers and strategies to overcome these barriers and eventually drive action individually, (iii) the role and the responsibility of the different stakeholders in ensuring access to safe and nutritious food for all and collectively move towards the 2030 SDGs. This online dialogue will specifically explore the Food–Health–Environment-Social-and Economic Nexus and its implications for all relevant stakeholders. Thus, it aims to provide relevant information to the UN FSS road map. Format: The online invitation-only dialogue will be held via a Zoom Meeting and use breakout rooms among participants to allow for smaller groups to hold conversations with a rapporteur and facilitator dedicated to each room. You will see participants from academia, NGOs, private sector and the UN leaders convened together.
<thumbnail_url>https://summitdialogues.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/climate-change-action-generations-1024x494.jpg</thumbnail_url></oembed>
