Specifically, it is expected that the dialogue on gender and food systems will make it possible to identify;1. A set of solutions and commitments for gender equality in food systems2. Position of the MICGBV on what commitments are needed to achieve gender equality in food systems for MalawiThe event will bring together a range of different stakeholders such as Government through representation from various Ministries, Departments and Agencies that are aligned to issues of food systems and gender equality, civil society organizations, farmer organizations, policy makers, and women farmers as project participants. By the end of the dialogue, we aim to devise solutions on rural women’s empowerment in food systems, how to bridge the gender technology gap in the sector, and amplify women’s voices and decision making in food systems.
