Food system is very key to health and life, we must therefore synergize to achieve the sustainable development goal 2 “Zero hunger” while working to promote security in the food system. Agriculture is one of the largest industries which drives the Nigeria’s economy and account for the bulk of its annual GDP. But in recent times, several factors have posed a great security threat to the food system. Voluntary service overseas which have been working to support farmers in local communities in Northern part of Nigeria has therefore determined to hear from specialists in the food system chain as we engage them in a dialogue to hear their views on how Nigerians can build resilience to challenges in the food system, looking at economic situation, the environment and insecurity issues especially in recent times.
