In the context of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ meeting of ministers of agriculture, fisheries, food and forestry, a dialogue webinar in held the day before the ministerial. Participants are invited from all five Nordic countries (Denmark,  Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden), including the three autonomous regions Åland, Greenland and Faroe Islands. Issues of common concern are discussed both in regard to national food systems and in regard to international and global food systems.

Six working groups will discuss specific topics as follows:

o 1) avoiding waste and loss, recycling – Nordic solutions
o 2) sustainable consumption, nutrition and health – Nordic Dietary recommendation
o 3) safe food for all; AMR, One health – Nordic experience
o 4) Sustainable use of natural resources; food-water-forest-oceans-energy – Nordic view
o 5) societal aspect; equity, equality, dialogue, rights, fairness – Nordic way
o 6) tomorrow’s perspectives; new technologies, global thinking – Nordic horizons
