In September 2021, a Food Systems Summit (FSS) will be held as part of the Decade of Action to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. In preparation for this Summit, the Government of Indonesia (c.q. BAPPENAS) organizes a series of dialogues both at the sub-national and the national levels aiming at shaping the pathway of food systems transformation in Indonesia in the future. The central theme of the first dialogue, Indonesian National Food Systems Dialogues, is to enhance multi-stakeholder partnership for the food systems transformation. The Dialogues invites stakeholders and provides them an opportunity to identify existing problems and challenges, to share their concerns and their roles, and to discuss possible solutions, policies, and collaborative joint actions in the food systems.
