Description
Current food and land-use practices and consumer behavior lead most countries towards unsustainable food systems with large environmental, equity, and health costs. Studies have shown meeting the SDGs and the Paris Agreement objectives is possible with decisive government action. Integrated approaches linking agriculture, biodiversity, and climate can be crucial to ensure short-term policymaking supports long-term food system transformation goals. How can scientists support policymakers in adopting a longer-term approach?
Join us for a live discussion on how scientists are bridging the science-policy gap, increasing the level of ambition, and building a shared vision of how to transform our food systems.
