This is the first Sub-national Food Systems Summit Dialogue (FSSD) to be conducted in Lae, Morobe Province of Papua New Guinea. The PNG National Convenor (Department of Agriculture and Livestock) has invited stakeholders from the Momase and Highlands region of PNG to participate in a part virtual/ part physical participatory session. The panel session will focus on two main ‘Action tracks’:

1. Ensuring access to safe and nutrition food for all
2. Empowering Women and youths as key drivers of food system change

Key presenters include representatives from the Government of Papua New Guinea , Non-government Organization, Private sector and key other key stakeholders partners

There will be two proceeding sub-national dialogues (week of 17May and 24 May, 2021) and one national dialogue (week of 14 June, 2021).

The panel discussions will break out into two sessions and will be facilitate by the National Convenor. There are key questions that the panel members will respond to and that is expected to generate the discussions between participants.
