الوصف
The sixth Sub-National Dialogue was held on 31 May 2021 in Kurigram through an online platform. In this dialogue programme, Mr. Md. Khurshid Iqbal Rezvi, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Food was the Chief Guest of the Dialogue, whereas District Commissioner of Kurigram was the Chair of the session. In the initial session, the keynote paper has been presented by Mr. Mostafa Faruq Al Banna, Associate Research Director, FPMU, Ministry of Food. Here, the group discussion session was divided into 4 Breakout sessions (virtual). Four breakout sessions/groups are: i) Availability of diversified, safe and nutritious food, ii) Transformation, delivery, access, and role of the private sector, iii) Consumer behaviours, Nutrition and Food Safety, iv) Climate Vulnerability, Inclusion and Governance. Representatives from Government Agencies, Academia, NGOs, Private sectors, Food Processors, Civil Society, Youth Group and Farmers Organizations from Kurigram have participated in the Dialogue. Ministry of Food has organized the dialogue. UN-FAO and GAIN provide technical supports.
