As we close the UN Food Systems Summit 2021, we would like to continue the momentum of these important topics for the society and the planet. We believe that the engagement from multiple stakeholders on a regional and country level is essential.

This forum aims to discuss the most crucial agenda of the food systems for Southeast Asia, particularly Malaysia and Singapore. This series of Independent Dialogue will examine:

Improving nutrition has been the core of global development and is also the key to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. During the pandemic, the changes in Singaporean’s lifestyle has impacted their health status. While the government takes the lead to introduce initiatives to improve the public’s health and well-being, other stakeholders can also play a role to make the change.

Panelists from different sectors have been invited to share their viewpoints on the challenges present and discuss how different stakeholders can work together, towards a healthier nation.
