First Nations and Pacific Island voices and knowledges are often missing or unnoticed from decision making processes that have profound impact upon these communities. First Nations and Pacific Island peoples are diverse in cultures and practices, yet often share similar experiences around the food system. By sharing case studies and other materials in the feedback process for the Summit, The George Institute will facilitate a process where community priorities, strengths and solutions are shared and heard, bringing global attention to local issues.
