FIRST NATIONAL MULTI-STAKEHOLDER DIALOGUE MEETING IN AZERBAIJAN

The main objective of the first dialogue meeting was to reach a common understanding on: (i) the 2021 UNFSS Summit, (ii) the national dialogue process and (iii) the “sustainable food systems approach”. By bringing together key stakeholders contributing to the food systems of Azerbaijan, the dialogue has become a starting point for an inclusive and collaborative exchange of views on the path to sustainable national food system; as well as for identifying challenges and sharing best practices for improving food systems and ensuring their sustainability in the future. About 45 participants is going to attend the dialogue representing of structural divisions and subordinate bodies of the Ministry of Agriculture, representatives of other relevant ministries and agencies, international organizations, as well as representatives of NGOs and the private sector.
