الوصف
Second Sub-National Dialogue was held on 8 March 2021 in Barguna. Mr. Md. Rejaul Karim, Member and Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Government was the Chief Guest of the Dialogue, whereas District Commissioner of Barguna was the chair of the session. Representative from Ministry of Food and FPMU have also been participated in the Programme. In the initial session of the Dialogue, there was a PP presentation on the participation of Bangladesh in the UNFSS, which has been presented by Mr. Feroz Al Mahmud, Research Director, FPMU. After the first session, four groups have been divided in the group discussion session. Four groups are: i) Availability of diversified, safe and nutritious Food, ii) Transformation, delivery, access and role of private sector, iii) Consumer behaviours, Nutrition and Food Safety, iv) Climate Vulnerability, Inclusion and Governance.Representatives from Government Agencies, Academia, NGOs, Private sectors, Civil Society, Farmers Organizations and Nutrition Club from Barguna have been participated the Dialogue. Ministry of Food and BFSA have jointly organized the dialogue. UN-FAO and GAIN provide technical supports.
