Описание
Culinary Breeding Network founder Lane Selman joined forces with WSU Food Systems and the Cascadia Grains Conference to recreate their traditional 300-person conference, leveraging the CBN’s online Winter Vegetable Sagra format, and teaming up with national partners engaged in two national USDA Organic Agriculture Research and Education Initiative grants targeted at expanding opportunities for specialty value-added small grains production, processing, and consumption. Sessions will be free of charge and stream live daily from May 3rd — May 7th on the Culinary Breeding Network’s Youtube Channel. Each day will hold a different focus (“Brewing & Distilling,” “Baking & Culinary Uses,” “Integrated Agricultural Systems,” “Agronomic Research,” and “Grains Systems Around the World,”); opportunities for education and interaction are endless.
Registration is encouraged so that attendees can access and stay up-to-date with programming details and access links and other information. All programming is free and everyone is welcome and encouraged to tune in — https://www.cascadiagrains.com/grains-week
About Cascadia Grains Conference & About WSU Food Systems
Cascadia Grains is re-vitalizing a culturally-relevant, environmentally-sound, regional grain movement in the Cascadia bioregion that is focused on equitable access, health and nutrition and taste and flavor. The Washington State University Food Systems Program delivers multidisciplinary expertise across academic, research, and extension, providing specialized resources for farmers and food systems contributors. We seek to work with communities throughout the state to foster viable farm businesses, optimize sustainable natural resource stewardship, and to promote scaled processing and distribution, always in the pursuit of access to healthy food for all.
About CBN
