The event will bring together non-governmental agencies, intergovernmental agencies, UN agencies working on the Sahel with the actors of the food systems.
The Dialogue is expected to add value by providing the following:
- Analysis of some of the current strategies and initiatives running across the region;
- Assessment of opportunities and challenges in achieving food security in the Sahel;
- Perspectives on how the empowering youth, women and indigenous could directly contribute to improving resilience in the region.
- Exchange of experiences and lessons learned.
