As a member of Global Ecovillage network, The House of I serves as a base for ecological education in Asia. We hope that our food education in communities and on other platforms could inspire more people to become fully aware of how their food choices affect planetary health. Meanwhile, Bonasse Biochemistry Technology Industry(Zhanjiang) Co., Ltd., which is a business partner of the House of I in spreading ecological practices, has been a diligent explorer in the marine industry for a few decades. The company is actively utilizing sustainable food production practices so as to contribute to solving the problem of world food shortages via innovation of production techiniques. At present, over consumption of meat has led to a vast meat producing industry which threatens ecological balance. Eating food grown locally is more sustainable. But corporate marketing encourages people to choose foods which are less healthy for people and the planet.
