Description
The meeting will be an opportunity to inform EU stakeholders of the Council Conclusions on the EU’s priorities for the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit, provide information on the EU dialogue and receive contributions from EU stakeholders on three subjects that are topical for the Summit:
- What are the challenges and opportunities related to the development of a policy framework on sustainable food systems?
- How can aquaculture and fisheries contribute to sustainable food systems?
- How can the EU contribute to the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit’s objective to boost nature positive production?
The meeting is by invitation only of members or a selection of members of the Advisory Group on the Food Chain and Animal and Plant Health, the agricultural Civil Dialogue Groups and the Fisheries and Aquaculture Advisory Councils
