Description
Using the EESC’s NAT/790 (An integrated approach for the EU’s rural areas, with particular emphasis on vulnerable regions) as a basis for the dialogue, GCE’s independent dialogue looks to understand the benefits and drawbacks of relocalising food systems and shortening food chains for urban and rural areas. The dialogue aims to bring together policy makers, retailers, community level groups, youth groups and scholars/academics to discuss their opinions on the benefits and drawbacks of shortening the food supply chain for urban and rural areas.
