Description
This Dialogue will examine issues and challenges facing food systems sustainability and resilience in the Caribbean region. The dialogue will examine issues relating to gender, climate risk and impacts, financing, food system value chain, food safety and security. After an introduction by convenors and curators the participants will be divided into 5 breakout discussion groups to discuss the following topics
- Enabling greater participation of women, youth and vulnerable groups including youth in conflict with the law, prisoners, ex prisoners and vulnerable communities
- Financing sustainable food production and innovations in food
- Food Safety and Security
- Addressing issues in the food, water, energy, waste and digitalization nexus
- Accelerating Climate smart and resilient agriculture
