Description
The African Non-State Actors Independent Dialogue on Food Systems Summit seeks to contribute to the articulation of Africa’s Common Position on critical food systems by bringing overlooked issues on board and cross-fertilize with outcomes from Africa’s UN Member State Dialogues.
Theme: Overlooked Issues in Transforming Food Systems in Africa
Specifically, this Dialogue seeks to:
- Analyse and tease out overlooked issues in the 5 UNFSS Action tracks
- Harvest and recommend key promising and emerging solutions that will bring greater changes in the Food System
- Contribute to Africa’s Common Position on transformative agenda on Food Systems in UNFSS
- Contribute new perspectives and options to the Malabo Declaration Implementation within accelerating meeting the set Biennial review targets.
