Description
This dialogue will explore opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in agriculture. AgMissionTM, a collaborative effort from the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR) and the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers in Action (USFRA), is focused on mobilizing farmers, ranchers and scientists globally to co-create and activate climate-smart farming solutions, making agriculture net-negative for GHG emissions. By creating a comprehensive, coordinated effort, we maximize knowledge, investment and scalability. AgMission builds an expansive public-private partnership grounded in technology, research and worldwide data sharing. By working together, we can close the gaps in agriculture-climate research and data integration to accelerate the development and adoption of new and proven on-farm climate solutions.
Through a series of breakout discussions, we hope to engage farmers, ranchers and scientists in a candid conversation about accelerating innovative climate-smart practices.
