INTRODUCTION

The UN Food System Summit Dialogue gateway invites actors to share and voice approaches that will transform the world in achieving sustainable food systems. This gives organic farmers and organizations under International Network of Organic Farmers Organizations (INOFO) in Africa an opportunity to amplify and share challenges in the food system in Africa as a result of high dominance by multinationals.

OBJECTIVES

1. To create awareness on the UN Food System Summit to stakeholders in Africa

2. To facilitate a dialogue for organic farmers to air their opinions on the shortcomings of the current food system in regard to organic food

3. To deliberate on how organic farming can safeguard food sovereignty in Africa
