Description
Growth in urban poverty, food insecurity and malnutrition are main challenges faced in low-income countries. We want to understand how slum dwellers engage and manage food chains to overcome food problems.
The central objective of this conference is to discuss the different links in the food value chain around urban slums in a bid to understand the challenges and identify opportunities of safe and nutritious food among the urban poor.
