Food system is  very key to health and life, we must therefore synergize to achieve the sustainable development goal 2 “Zero hunger” while working to promote security in the food system. Agriculture is one of the largest industries which drives the Nigeria’s economy and account for the bulk of its annual GDP. But in recent times, several factors have posed a great security threat to the food system. Voluntary service overseas which have been working to support farmers in local communities in Northern part of Nigeria has therefore determine to find out directly from the primary actors as we engage them in a dialogue to know the various challenges they are faced with especially in recent times and collate their contributions to the innovative solutions needed to achieve food security.
